So, I have been thinking a lot about a lot of things, some random some not so random, at the end of the day, the thoughts just spiral out of proportion and I end up spiraling down new topics, its an endless and continuous cycle:
Think about something → Start Researching the thing → Random unrelated thought enters → Pursue random unrelated thought → Remember why I started thinking → Go back to initial thought → Turns out random unrelated thought brought more clarity on initial thought → Think about something → repeat
Turns out its an unconscious behavior I have little to no control over, so for an experiment I tried to follow a more disciplined approach to thinking and learning, and based on the result of that, it was one of the most boring and tedious activity I have ever done, I didn’t enjoy what I was doing, I barely understood what I was doing, and I wasn’t even trying to learn, it felt more like watching paint dry, why would anyone even do that ?, so I decided to lean more into this and see how deep the rabbit hole goes, so while reading on how op-geth works, for one reason or the other I decided to find out what rules the EVM had in place for execution of transactions, while reading them, I recollected Immanuel Kant’s three questions:
“What can I know?”
“What should I do?”
“What may I hope?”
I never went in depth on Kant’s philosophy, maybe due to random explorations and all I stumbled on these, so going back to the EVM rules I tried to piece them together then, I concluded, hell these are more similar than I thought, Kant’s three questions and the EVM rules, similar in the sense that the EVM is the basis of which Ethereum exists, without the EVM there can be no Ethereum, so i tried thinking how much similarity can I derive from this, then I tried comparing creation to this, then concluded on three questions that guides the process of creation
“What do I want to achieve?”
“How can I achieve it?”
“What are the rules/constraints?”
I intend on applying these three questions, during the process of creation, if my creation cannot be broken down by these three questions, then its deemed incomplete. I intend on using these three questions to guide me through the creation process, its fun to fall down rabbit holes and pursue seemingly unrelated things, cause they may be the missing link you have been looking for to piece everything together, in addition to this I have one last important question What is a Justaway?
